Another round of flu shot clinics in SD&G

SD&G – Another round of flu shot clinics is getting underway this week in SD&G.

Residents in the Maxville-area will be able to get their immunization Thursday (Nov. 13) from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Maxville Sports Complex.

Alexandria residents will be able to go to Glengarry District High School on Saturday (Nov. 15) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

There are more clinics in the next two weeks:

  • Tuesday, Nov. 18 – Winchester – Joel Steele Community Center – 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 19 – Williamstown – Char-Lan District High School – 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
  • Wednesday, Nov. 26 – Cornwall – Civic Complex – 2 p.m. – 8 p.m.

The free clinics are being held by the Eastern Ontario Health Unit.

The EOHU also holds flu shot clinics by appointment at its offices for people with young children, physical limitations, medical conditions or special needs.

The health unit urges people to get vaccinated if they are very young, elderly or have chronic medical conditions.

You do need to bring a piece of ID to the clinic when you get your shot.
