Hospital fundraiser nets $35K

CORNWALL – A dew at the Nav Center in the city has helped those battling cancer.

With roughly 300 people were at the Cornwall Hospital Foundation’s third annual Denim and Diamonds on Saturday night; the event raised around $35,000.

The money, along with funds raised during a recent radiothon, are going toward a chemotherapy unit, which hospital brass hope to have up and running before 2016.
