
SOREL, Que. – The Cornwall River Kings have picked up a University of Ottawa center for their first pick in the LNAH draft Saturday.
Rock Regimbald, 23, played with the U of O after four years in the juniors with the QMJHL.
Regimbald had 18 pionts and 56 penalty minutes in 25 games in the CIS.
Also picked up, with ties to Cornwall, are former Colts sniper Damien Cross, 26, and Cornwall native Scott Champagne, 32, in the seventh and eight rounds respectively.
Also picked up in Saturday’s draft are Julien Leduc, Michael Dupont, Philippe Charbonneau, Pierre-Olivier Grandmaison, Yan Dumontier, Etienne Salvail, Erick Lizon and Robbie Thomson.
