ALEXANDRIA – Six out of seven ain’t bad!
Gail Rochon of Alexandria recently matched all but one of the numbers in the exact order on her Lotto Max Encore during the Sept. 16 draw.
The six digits turned into a $100,000 win.
The 63-year-old retiree says she’s been buying Lotto Max tickets for every draw for 15 years.
“I randomly chose this game one day and I’ve been loyal ever since,” she told lottery officials at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto.
When she checked her ticket at a local gas station “I nearly passed out when I saw I won! All I could say was, ‘Winner, winner, chicken dinner!'”
Rochon plans to invest her windfall.
The winning ticket was bought at Express Mart on Main Street North in Alexandria.
