CORNWALL/CRYSLER – Two residents from Cornwall and Crysler are celebrating their respective lottery wins.
Marie Read of Cornwall won $89,080, taking second prize on a Lotto 6/49 draw on June 21.
In Crysler, Suzanne Cayer matched all seven Encore numbers in the exact order on her Sept. 10 Lotto 6/49 ticket and won $1 million.
“This is incredible,” Suzanne told lottery officials at the OLG Prize Center in Toronto. “When I found out I had won $1 million, tears ran down my face. I’m just so happy and grateful, and my family is thrilled for me.”
The 63-year-old married mother of two and grandmother of three plans to pay off her son’s mortgage and do a little shopping.
“I’m on cloud nine. I feel like a million bucks!”
