SD&G – A combination of snow, freezing rain and ice pellets is expected to hit the Cornwall and SD&G area today (Nov. 9).
Environment Canada issued a special weather statement at 5:18 a.m. saying an accumulation of snow is very likely.
Later Sunday morning, a freezing rain warning was issued around 10:51 a.m. with ice buildup of 1-2 millimeters expected this afternoon and tonight.
The precipitation is expected to start late this afternoon and continue tonight.
“There remains uncertainty with respect to the track of this weather system, and as such forecast snowfall amounts may change,” the weather agency said.
Between 5 and 10 centimeters of snow (2 and 4 inches) of snow is expected.
