CORNWALL – A Cornwall man is celebrating after scratching his way to $150,000.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission says Richard Jodoin is a regular Lotto 649 and Lotto Max player while also grabs an instant ticket for “a bit of extra fun.”

He found out after checking the ticket at the store he won on a $10 The Bigger Spin ticket.

“I wasn’t even paying attention to the screen. I didn’t expect to win much. Then suddenly, I heard the music go off. I was in shock and disbelief, and the clerk was just as surprised. It was an exciting and nerve-racking moment,” Jodoin told lottery officials.

The 63-year-old janitor has been playing the lottery for about 15 years.

He plans to pay some bills and make some investments with his winnings.

The Boston Bruins fan hopes to go to Beantown someday.
