Colts into the playoffs

CORNWALL – The Cornwall Colts have finished the regular season and have clinched a playoff spot.

The Colts were shutout by the visiting Kemptville 73’s on Saturday afternoon (March 15) 5-0 at the Ed Lumley Arena.

Cornwall closed out the season with just one win in their last five games.

They finish third in the Yzerman Division with 57 points (26-24-2-3).

The Rockland Nationals were the regular season campaign and clinched the division with 92 points (45-8-1-1).

Also going into the CCHL playoffs are the Nationals and the Navan Grads in the Yzerman Division.

Over in the Robinson Division, the Carleton Place Canadians, Smiths Falls Bears, Pembroke Lumber Kings, Brockville Braves and Kemptville 73’s will play in the post season.
