SD&G – Be prepared for a few days of uncomfortably hot weather across Cornwall and SD&G.
Environment Canada issued a heat warning Saturday night as daytime high temperatures are expected to be near 30 degrees.
With the humidity, it’s going to feel like it’s closer to 40.
“There will be little relief at night as minimum temperatures are expected to be near 20 degrees,” the agency said.
A cooler air mass is expected to arrive on Tuesday night.
In the meantime, Environment Canada says people vulnerable to the heat should take precautions including drinking lots of water and to seek shade or a cooling center.
