MORRISBURG – Help in the form of cash is already coming in to help repair the damage at Morrisburg Waterfront Park.

Someone trashed the green space on the weekend of June 7-9, snapping trees in half, breaking spindles on the waterfront deck and throwing paint on benches.

The Cornwall Car Club has donated $500 to the Morrisburg and District Lions Club.

The donation was made last week.

Provincial police are looking for tips to identify who vandalized the park with damage estimated at over $19,000.

Anyone with information is asked to call SD&G OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers.
