WINCHESTER – A new referral clinic dealing with patients with autoimmune disorders will be opening at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital next month.
The hospital has also announced Dr. Shannon Meilleur has be hired to run the rheumatology clinic.
Her first day will be June 6.
Meilleur is a medical graduate from Queen’s University and had a rheumatology fellowship at Montreal’s McGill University.
Rheumatology focuses on inflammation of the bones, muscles, joints and internal organs caused by an autoimmune deficiency.
