Handgun ammo seized, three charged on Highway 401

SOUTH DUNDAS – Provincial police say they seized roughly 200 rounds of handgun ammunition after a traffic stop.

The stop happened in the early morning of Monday last week (April 22) after an officer stopped a vehicle for speeding in South Dundas.

Police say the officer noticed cannabis in close proximity to the driver and conducted a search, which turned up the ammo.

A 32-year-old Toronto man, a 40-year-old man from Windsor and a 30-year-old woman (no hometown available) are facing a number of charges.
