CORNWALL – Two men are facing multiple charges after Canada Border Services Agency officers uncovered firearms and ammunition.
Cornwall Police Service was involved in the arrest on Wednesday (April 3) at the port of entry after receiving the “weapons complaint” from the border agency.
Several firearms were seized, according to police.
A 51-year-old man and a 27-year-old man – both with no fixed address – are facing 30 charges each, including trafficking in firearms and carrying a concealed weapon.
The younger man is facing eight additional charges – five of failing to comply with a court undertaking and three counts of disobeying a court order not to possess a weapon or firearm.
Both were held by police for bail hearings.
