SD&G – School buses across Cornwall and SD&G are cancelled today (Tuesday).
With bad road conditions expected to start this afternoon with an impending major winter storm, the transportation consortium has cancelled all school buses in the region.
Student Transportation of Eastern Ontario (STEO) and the French transportation consortium have both cancelled all buses.
Schools remain open for those who can get to school.
This is the second time this season buses have been cancelled due to the weather. The last time was Dec. 4.
Environment Canada has a winter weather advisory in effect for our region with 5-15 centimeters (2-6 inches) of snow expected as well as freezing rain and ice pellets tonight.
