Drugs seized during South Dundas traffic stop; three charged

MORRISBURG – Three people are facing drug trafficking charges after a traffic stop on Highway 401 in South Dundas.

Provincial police say they stopped a speeding vehicle early Wednesday morning (Dec. 13).

A search of the vehicle uncovered marijuana and cocaine.

A 30-year-old Toronto man, a 30-year-old Kingston man and a 66-year-old Bowmanville man are all facing a slew of charges.

Most of the charges are federal drug charges, including possession for the purpose of distribution or trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

The driver was charged with stunt driving for excessive speed.
