SD&G – A freezing rain warning is in effect for Cornwall and SD&G.
Environment Canada issued the warning at 6:30 a.m. today (Wednesday) calling for up to 2 millimeters (0.07 inches) of ice accumulation and snow and ice pellets totalling 5 centimeters (2 inches).
The weather agency says the snow and ice pellets will switch over to freezing rain later this morning and then to rain this afternoon as the temperature gets above the freezing mark.
