KINGSTON – Five paramedics with Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services have been recognized for their service.
Bradley Hunt, Lori Lefebvre, Michel Langlois, Sophie Tasse and Trina Boisvenue were given the Governor General’s Emergency Medical Services Exemplary Service Medal.
They were among 166 Ontario paramedics who received the award for 20-plus years of providing care. At least 10 of those years had to be on duty in the field.
The Ontario Association of Paramedic Chiefs released the list of recipients on Oct. 24 from the ceremony in Kingston on Thursday, Sept. 28.
The medal was created in 1994 by late Governor General Romeo LeBlanc.
