Roy wins $10,000 in Canadian Nationals at CMS

CORNWALL – Felix Roy took the checkered flag and a $10,000 purse in the Canadian Nationals race at Cornwall Motor Speedway Sunday night.

Roy managed to distance himself from Mat Williamson during lap traffic in the late stages of the 100 lap race to capture his second feature of the season. Williamson was second and Tim Fuller was third.

In other action, William Racine won the sportsman feature, Alex Forcier took the mod-lite feature and Tyler French won the street stocks.

The season ends this Sunday (Sept. 3) with a championship night featuring all divisions.
