CORNWALL – A driver is dead after a collision involving a van and a school bus, northwest of Cornwall.
SD&G OPP say the crash happened around 3 p.m. Monday on Atchison Road.
The driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
The school bus driver and four children on the bus were taken to hospital by paramedics with what are described as non-life threatening injuries.
The rest of the children were taken back for “family reunification” at Sainte-Lucie, a French Catholic elementary school on Headline Road, south of St. Andrews West.
An investigation into the cause of the crash in ongoing.
A section of Atchison Road was closed for the investigation.
