CORNWALL – A cannabis company has bought an independent drug store in Cornwall’s Le Village.

ShinyBud Cannabis, which has three city locations, recently bought the Cotton Mill Pharmacy for $900,000.

Cotton Mill Pharmacy has been in business since 2015. It will run under the mihi Health & Wellness brand of ShinyBud.

Co-owner Andrew Hanna is staying on as the vice president of pharmacy operations.

ShinyBud says it’s “broadening its retail growth strategy with a focus on health and wellness” with its expansion into pharmacies in order to stand out from competitors.

The cannabis company plans to rebrand its parent company as Shiny Health and Wellness Corp.
