Update 2:15 p.m. Thursday: Arrest in Long Sault corner store robberies
LONG SAULT – Provincial police are hoping you can help them find a person who robbed a Long Sault convenience store twice in one day.
SD&G OPP say the Circle K (formerly Mac’s) on Moulinette Road was robbed by a man demanding cash and cigarettes around 2:20 a.m. Monday (June 20). He ran away with an undisclosed amount of goods.
Then it happened again just before midnight on the same day with the same outcome.
The suspect is described as a man in his mid-30s to mid-40s, skinny, white and about 6 feet tall.
He was wearing a hoodie with a DC logo on the chest, black shorts and black shoes during the first robbery and then a brown plaid jacket, green pants, black shoes and a gauze bandage over his head the second time.
