CORNWALL – A city woman has won $250,000 on an instant scratch ticket.

Lisa Cheesman told lottery officials she thought at first she only won $30 on the Instant Bingo Multiplier ticket and then was “shocked when I realized” it was a quarter million dollars.

The 48-year-old plans to upgrade her vehicle, do a kitchen renovation and save the balance.

Cornwall is seeing its share of lottery winners recently – she is the third Cornwallite to take home a six-figure jackpot from a lottery ticket.
