COVID-19 Ontario Update: December 10, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, Public Health Ontario reported another 1,453** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 613 none, 26 partial, 718 full, 96 unknown), bringing the total to 629,064. That’s a 0.2 per cent increase in total cases since Thursday. Of those, 609,806 are resolved (96.9 per cent) and 10,065 people have died (11 more deaths than Thursday).

There are 309 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 151 in the ICU and 90 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 20,128,734 (39,941 more than Thursday) and results are pending for 25,644.

Ontario has administered 24,304,272 vaccine doses (78,390 more than Thursday), 11,316,878 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (89), Toronto (195), York Region (91) and Ottawa (109) account for 484 of today’s cases.
