GLEN WALTER – The Ontario government has announced a natural gas expansion project for the Glendale subdivision – again.

This time, Energy Minister Todd Smith was brought to South Glengarry by MPP Jim McDonell Monday afternoon to tout the partnership between Enbridge and the province that will see 77 properties get natural gas by the end of 2025.

The money — $2.3 million — was already announced in June.

The Glendale subdivision is on the north side of Highway 401 and east of Boundary Road.

The next provincial election is a little more than 200 days away.
