COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 8, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, Public Health Ontario reported another 480** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 244 none, 13 partial, 191 full, 32 unknown), bringing the total to 603,711. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Sunday. Of those, 589,771 are resolved (97.7 per cent) and 9,900 people have died (two more than Sunday).

There are 105 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 127 in ICU and 74 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,177,267 (22,980 more than Sunday) and results are pending for 6,356.

Ontario has administered 22,623,960 vaccine doses (17,057 more than Sunday), 11,089,632 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (39), Toronto (53), York Region (39) and Ottawa (36) account for 167 of today’s cases.
