COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 4, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Public Health Ontario reported another 438** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 227 none, 15 partial, 159 full, 37 unknown), bringing the total to 601,524. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Wednesday. Of those, 588,444 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,891 people have died (five more than Wednesday).

There are 234 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 130 in ICU and 85 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,066,809 (32,129 more than Wednesday) and results are pending for 13,726.

Ontario has administered 22,569,439 vaccine doses (16,588 more than Wednesday), 11,053,036 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (26), Toronto (72), York Region (37) and Ottawa (28) account for 163 of today’s cases.
