CORNWALL – The warden of the United Counties of SD&G has been released on bail.

Frank Prevost, 53, was arrested Tuesday following two separate police investigations – one being an online undercover operation by the O.P.P. Child Sexual Exploitation Unit.

Prevost is facing three counts of luring a child and one count of sexual assault.

Following a video appearance in Cornwall for a show cause hearing Wednesday, Prevost was released on a $2,000 bail bond and will have to follow a number of conditions of release.

His next court appearance is June 24.

Because of the nature of the alleged crimes, court has placed a publication ban on details of the case that would identify the victims.

None of the allegations against Prevost have been proven in court.
