MORRISBURG – A little over a year after she was hired, the head of environmental services for the Municipality of South Dundas is leaving.

In a brief statement Friday afternoon, CAO Shannon Geraghty says Danielle Watson is leaving her position immediately “due to personal reasons.”

“The municipality is grateful for all the contributions that Danielle has made during her time here. We wish Danielle the best on her next venture,” Geraghty said.

Prior to being hired as director of environmental services for South Dundas, Watson worked for the City of Cornwall as the waste management supervisor from March 2017 to January 2020.
