Williamson wins feature at Cornwall Motor Speedway

CORNWALL – In Cornwall Motor Speedway action, a couple of drivers had their first wins of the season Sunday night.

Mat Williamson took the checkered flag in the modified feature event.

Robert Delormier had his first win in the sportsman division while Alexis Charbonneau also got his first win in the mini-stocks.

Bruno Richard took the lead in the 40 lap pro-stock feature with six laps to go to seal the victory.

It was a father-son battle in the 20 lap vintage division, with the elder Jason Powers holding off challenges from his son, Josh, to grab the win.

The night celebrated the career of racer Billy Cook – the 76-year-old driver from Hogansburg, N.Y. who is oldest active driver in DIRTcar.
