CORNWALL – A spooky experience in October raised $24,000 for three local organizations.

Organizers distributed the money recently to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall and District, Baldwin House and Habitat for Humanity.

Each organization will get $8,000.

The haunted attraction saw thousands visit 1400 Vincent Massey Drive – a Halloween treat that keeps getting bigger and better, organizers say.

“The Ghost Walk continues to grow each year,” committee chairman Mike Turcotte said. “Because of the community’s support, we’ve been able to donate over $55,000 to local charities over the past three years.”

“Our committee is already looking forward to planning for next year’s Ghost Walk,” he added.

The event drew in people as far away as Kingston and Belleville.
