Octogenarian missing near Alexandria

Update 8:12 a.m. Wednesday: O.P.P. say Gilles Quesnel has been found alive and well. The O.P.P. would like to thank the public for their assistance.

ALEXANDRIA – Provincial police are asking for your help in finding an 89-year-old man, missing since Monday afternoon.

Gilles “Guy” Quesnel was last seen around 3 p.m. Monday as he was driving north on County Road 34, possibly heading to Gatineau, Que.

Police say he was driving a red 2010 Dodge Caravan with the licence plate 574 ADN.

He is white, 5-foot-7, with short white hair, brown eyes and wears eyeglasses.

His family is concerned for his well-being.
