CORNWALL – A pedestrian was critically injured Thursday night (Oct. 10) after being struck by a pickup truck at a Cornwall intersection.
City police say the black pickup truck struck the pedestrian near First Street and Lefebvre Avenue shortly after 8 p.m.
The driver did stay at the scene as Cornwall police, firefighters and paramedics arrived.
The pedestrian, an older man, was taken by Cornwall-SDG Paramedic Services to the Cornwall Community Hospital for treatment.
