CORNWALL – A small business, described as a one-stop shop for brides, is the winner of this year’s edition of Win This Space.

Love and Lee Bridal Boutique is run by Kelsey Lee and was one of more than 20 submissions in the Cornwall Downtown Business Improvement Area (DBIA) contest, which provides $1,000 in monthly rent or lease payments for a year to get a new business off the ground in the downtown area.

Lee was presented with the prize during a contest finale event on Wednesday.

In its second year, DBIA chairman Martha Woods says Win This Space is a proven concept and they were pleased with the submissions. The number of entries was up 75 per cent this year compared to the 2018 inaugural year.

The Cornwall Business Enterprise Center was also involved providing contestants with business training.
