CORNWALL – A Cornwall man, accused of violating his adult daughter, will be going to trial a little over a year from now.

A Cornwall court has set aside four days in September 2020 to hear the case against the 54-year-old man.

He was charged in October 2018 with two counts each of sexual assault and incest.

Police say the victim was 31 years old at the time of the assaults, which happened twice in December 2017.

A judicial pretrial, to determine whether the case could head to trial, was held in April 2019 and the dates for trial were scheduled during a court appearance last week.

The accused has elected to be tried by a judge alone.
