Cornwall police seize $26,000 in cocaine; four arrested

CORNWALL – City police arrested four people Wednesday (June 19) after doing a search of a Walton Street home in Cornwall.

Officers with the Cornwall Police Service Street Crime Unit seized cocaine and over $10,000 in cash as well as some American cash and some fake U.S. bills.

A lock picking device and a mobile signal jammer was also seized.

Four people, ages 19 to 46, have been arrested and are facing charges of drug possession, drug trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime, possession of break-in instruments and possession of counterfeit money.

One of the accused was also charged with breaking a “no weapons” court condition for having a crossbow.
