CORNWALL – A North Dundas man has reached a plea deal in connection to a drug bust last spring near Chesterville.

According to court records, 30-year-old Brandon Elliott pleaded guilty to nine charges during a court appearance last week.

But the nine counts are related to weapons and stolen property – none to drugs.

Elliott had been facing 31 charges after Ontario Provincial Police searched a property on County Road 7 in late May 2018, where they seized marijuana, various marijuana plants, crystal meth, meth pills, GHB, speed pills, cocaine and cash.

Multiple guns were also seized, including a sawed off shotgun, ammunition and an ATV.

A sentencing hearing is scheduled for mid-March. The court ordered a pre-sentence report ahead of the hearing.
