Heads of United Way operations, campaign announced

CORNWALL – The United Way of SD&G has made a couple of appointments.

Meagan MacDonald Bingley has been appointed the director of operations, the board announced today (Aug. 1).

She has 10 years experience in the insurance industry and was the former vice president of the Cornwall and District Chamber of Commerce. Bingley is also a founding member of the chamber’s Young Professionals Network.

The United Way also announced that Angie Baker will be the community campaign chairman for the 2018-19 season.

“I have been affiliated with the United Way of SD&G in some form or another for over 25 years. I truly believe in the work the United Way of SD&G funded agencies do in our community and am honoured to have been chosen as this year’s…campaign chair,” Baker said.

The United Way helps 13 agencies with 14 programs within SD&G.
