WINCHESTER – Provincial police believe they have the men responsible for at least two break-ins to a North Dundas landfill site.

Police had been investigating break-ins to the Boyne Road landfill, east of Winchester, on May 26 and June 5. In both cases, things were stolen and some of the buildings were damaged.

On Tuesday (June 12), SD&G O.P.P. arrested a 23-year-old South Dundas man and a 40-year-old North Dundas man.

Each accused is facing charges of break and enter and mischief.

The North Dundas man is facing additional drug charges after police searched his home during the arrests.

They will appear in a Morrisburg court on Aug. 7.
