CORNWALL – Starbucks coffee drinkers will have to do without their mocha lattes and cappuccinos for the rest of today (Monday).

The Cornwall Starbucks, as well as 1,100 other locations across Canada, are closing this afternoon for the rest of the day.

In a letter to customers, President Michael Conway says staff are receiving race, bias and inclusion training following the case where two black men were arrested at a Philadelphia Starbucks.

A staff member at the Brookdale Avenue location believed the doors were going to close just before 2:30 p.m.
