Manitoba puppies up for SD&G adoption

CORNWALL – Five puppies, rescued from a remote community in Manitoba, will be up for adoption Thursday.

The Ontario SPCA says the five dogs – Vienna, Sydney, Paris, Tokyo and Geneva – are eight weeks old were were among 26 transferred from the Prairie province.

The program is facilitated by a number of agencies and is part of the Year of the Northern Dog initiative, to bring awareness to canine overpopulation.

The SD&G shelter on Boundary Road opens at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
