Another startup passes through CIC

CORNWALL – Holding its event in a new location, the Cornwall Innovation Center has added a green-related venture to its fold.

Big Rock Mountain Inc. was one of two businesses to make their pitch in Alexandria on Wednesday during a Venture Demo Day, the agency announced today (Thursday).

Big Rock Mountain from the Ottawa area (Greely, Ont.) brands itself as a one stop shop for parts and technology in the mining and aggregate sector.

There are now a dozen ventures that have passed through the CIC.

The Lead to Win business accelerator program is designed to help businesses generate $1 million in annual revenue by their third year of operation.
