$1M lottery winner comes forward

CORNWALL – We now know who won $1 million on Lotto Max, just before Christmas.

The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Commission announced today (Thursday) that Joeanne Laviolette of Long Sault, Ont. won the Maxmillions prize on the Dec. 22, 2017 lottery draw.

Laviolette did not share any details with OLG officials as she picked up her prize yesterday (Mar. 7).

The winning ticket was sold at the CNIB lottery kiosk at Walmart in Cornwall.
