GLEN WALTER – A South Glengarry family was able to get out of their Paragon Road home this morning (Jan. 2) after a basement fire.
Emergency responders were called to the home around 7 a.m., including three stations from South Glengarry Fire.
The fire department said there were no injuries and everybody in the home got out safely.

SD&G O.P.P. shut down a section of Paragon Road from Rae Road to County Road 27 for a while. The O.P.P. was cleared from the scene though one area resident said the road was still shuttered as of noon.
