Stolen motorcycles recovered in South Stormont

SOUTH STORMONT – Provincial police have recovered a utility trailer, loaded with a couple of motorcycles, after the unit was stolen.

SD&G O.P.P. were called to a property on County Road 36 Monday morning after someone stole a Snow King utility trailer, loaded with a 2005 Harley Davidson and a 2008 Triumph Rocket, as well as a generator.

The theft happened sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning.

On Tuesday (Nov. 21), the O.P.P. Community Street Crime Unit searched a home on Richmond Drive and recovered the property, as well as a pickup truck stolen from Leeds County.

A 41-year-old South Stormont man is facing seven counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
