ALEXANDRIA – The chief administrative officer for North Glengarry is leaving for a job in Northern Ontario.
Daniel Gagnon gave notice this week that he will officially resign at the end of the year. He will start his new job in the new year (Jan. 2, 2018).
He’s accepted a post with the City of Elliot Lake, where he was CAO in August 2010 before he left in February 2011 to come to North Glengarry.
The City of Elliot Lake terminated its most recent CAO without cause in May.
The Township of North Glengarry will use a head hunting firm to find a successor for Gagnon.
