CORNWALL – City police had to corral another moose within the city limits early Friday morning.

Const. Sherri Cameron told Cornwall Newswatch the moose was spotted around 1:30 a.m. in the downtown area.

“Through the night it was guided north to safety. MNR were notified and are heading this way in the event their assistance is required,” Cameron added.

This is the third moose sighting within city limits this fall.

Two were in the north end of the city last month, one of which was killed by authorities as it was heading toward Highway 401.
