OTTAWA – Cornwall councillors and some senior staff are attending the Association of Municipalities of Ontario conference.

The AMO conference, which started Sunday and runs through Wednesday, is seen as one of the more important meetings where municipal leaders from across Ontario exchange ideas and take part in municipally-geared learning sessions.

Mayor Leslie O’Shaughnessy, as part of the Eastern Ontario Mayors’ Caucus, will be meeting with a senior policy advisor to Finance Minister Charles Sousa.

Premier Kathleen Wynne, PC leader Patrick Brown and NDP leader Andrew Horwath are all scheduled to speak at the conference.
