Bovines, buskers and boats in SD&G this weekend

SD&G – There will be plenty to do in Cornwall and SD&G this weekend.

In South Glengarry, the Williamstown Fair kicked off with the gates opening at 7 a.m. this morning (Friday) and continues through Sunday at 6 p.m.

The fair includes cattle shows and the Great Raisin River Foot Race at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday.

In the city, Cornwall Waterfest starts at 8 a.m. Saturday at Power Dam Drive and Second Street West in the city’s west end.

The fundraiser for Cornwall Hospice will feature the dragon boat races with teams from Cornwall, Ottawa and Montreal.

Lamoureux Park will also be alive with entertainment as the busking festival YACabuskalooza runs from 1 p.m. with the main show at 2 p.m. and free-form busking at 3:40 p.m. (Corrected from an earlier version to show event is on Saturday, not Sunday)
