CORNWALL – The top clerical job at city hall has been solidified.

Deputy Clerk Manon Levesque has officially taken the clerk’s position at city hall.

Levesque has been with the city since 2003.

During that time she has performed a number of functions including officiating weddings and working to move the Cornwall Accessibility Plan forward.

She also serves on the Association of Municipal Clerks and Treasurers of Ontario.

The clerk’s position had been vacant since June 2016 after then-clerk Helen Finn and the city parted ways.
