CORNWALL – Ottawa Senators alum Jesse Winchester is expected to visit the local Boys and Girls Club of Cornwall-SDG tomorrow to donate new ball hockey equipment.
The donation and visit on Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 24) is part of the hockey club’s Street Senturions Enjeu Program, which provides equipment to local community centers to allow them to run the program for free.
Winchester – who calls Long Sault home – will be joining the Ottawa Senators fan and community development team.
The equipment includes sticks, rubber pucks, no-bounce balls, net and goalie gear.
The team says 35 sets of equipment have already been delivered in Eastern Ontario.
The Boys and Girls Club Cornwall-SDG is at 506 First Street East.
